Another degree, food for thought

Hey, thanks for the email. I can commiserate, having done a science degree as well, before completing my second degree in illustration at OCAD. If you would like to pursue graphic design, I recommend going to school for it, not a technical school, but one that will give you a degree. The degree itself isn't important in finding work, but a degree program will teach you how to think and see, far beyond the mere technical skills that a smaller institute will offer. It's best to stay inspired and to work hard. Art is a tough career, so you have to want it and give it 110% of your effort, only then will it happen. hey i heard there's really an arts institute downtown, but i heard it's very infamous... better get an art degree in u of t instead of going there!

That's OCAD. On the exact contrary, OCAD is very prestigious and hard to get in, unlike u of t arts.
