soo so so happy!! at last!

I'm happy!! About everything right now! Not really because of the biochem test which ended half my life and half my courage, but an ordinary walk down a 'country lane' that brings me back to the feeling of joy n innocence once again, as if walking right into childhood laughters. I just feel so light hearted and touched I can do nothing but grin from ear to ear.

At 1215 I carried my backpack and headed to the front desk for check-out. Damn the queue was so so long, and I had to catch the bus to waterloo at 1230. Luckily I got on the bus somewhat at last minute. The driver whooshed me on 'deck' and there we rocked all the way to a stop-over station called 'guelph' where everybody except me got off. Fine. After 10 minutes break, 3 more passengers got on so as not to make myself the lone wolf. And an hour later, it arrived at Kitchner, where again, everybody except me got off.

'Still wanna go to waterloo?'
'Yeah.'
'Alrite, you're the only one'

Was he gonna drop me off at kitchner n go back for break i wonder? But anyhow he was nice enough to get me to the campus.

And so I arrived. With heavy weight luggage, muscle cramp, severe fatige and retardednes, and the primitive urge to wolf down whatever resembled food.

After dinner, me and Mary (auntie's daughter) had a game of chinese chess. Geez. Shame on me. What's the last time i ever played one?
1st, I didn't learn it.
2nd, I wanted to learn it so I joined RJ chess club and was scared away on day One coz the president asked beginners to solve a problem assuming we already knew the basics pretty well. And everybody(wearing glasses)was musing over something I couldn't comprehend and at the same time massaging their chin as if the'd rub an idea out of it.
3rd, the last time I ever played chinese chess, with jady, somewhere along JC1 timeline. And I didn't even know how to make a move. Should I dong4 bin1 or should I yi2 pao4?
And so, 4th, adding on to my small collection of zhu's choronological recollection of chinese chess,
I lost to Mary at the mere 11th or 12th move. Although I did put in some efforts and thought about 3 or 4 steps ahead. And read that, I only looked at MY battlefield. Just when did her horse corner my general??? Zhu are you nuts?
But it's very stimulating.

The sunset was brilliant so we two decided to go out for a walk. She said there're 2 lovely lanes down the road. 'Lovely' is an understatement. I almost forgot there were still wild goose, four-leaved clovers around, or a shrub that looks like Medusa's snakey hairstyle. And a singing stream that caught the straws we threw in and entangled them with the water ferns. I remembered lots of stuff, the tadpoles I caught, George Winston's 'Motana', and Jady's 'final fantasy'- or is this place somewhere near her ideal? We met two kids who were venturing into a swamp of mud at the edge of a pond. They were having great fun dirtying their shoes and getting their feet stuck in the gluey mess. We picked some pebbles and threw them as far as we could, until our arms were tired and limb then we headed back, while all the way mimicking the sound of frogs, frightend chickens and ducks. We betted on the time we'd reach home and I won.

I feel so rejuvenated. If only this's the place I'd stay for a bit longer...
