Explanatory notes of title
Big Sur is a section of the Californian coast where Miller lived for 15 years.

Hieronymus Bosch is a Dutch painter of 15th century who's most famously known for his triptych 'The Garden of Earthly Delight'. In his triptych 'The Millennium', Bosch used oranges and other fruits to symbolize the delights of Paradise.
