Green Green Vancouver

Belated post on everything.

Happy B-day to guizi! Happy B-day to Yurippe!

I'm moving to a new apartment tomorrow. Will post up some photos. It's located at a very strategic position. My work office is just across the street and the neighborhood is very self-sufficient. Shopping centre, library, park and a finance specialist college (Kwantlen Univ. college) are all within walking distance. Richmond is like a magnified Chinatown where you don't have to speak English to get your way around and where the white feels like foreigners.

An air view map I emailed to dad. UBC occupies the west corner of Van. Downtown is up north across the English bay. I've been staying temporarily at my friend's house somewhere in the middle and will be moving to Richmond.

Considering part-time college and get accountant cert. I feel like a new-age Renaissance girl who's jack of all trades: science, commerce, art. I better get my machete sharpened and prepare for an energy-draining ordeal. C'est la vie. En rose? En shit? En sweat?

Everything for the moment and for the future.

Van's forestry is prolific. It's a major producer and exporter of woods. There's a peaceful neighborhood garden near my friend's house where we take the doggie out for afternoon walk. I don't have any previous experience with dogs but now I know, they poo and pee during the walk. They smell the wild daisies, sniff up other dogs' pee and rotten woods, and press their belly down on soft grass when they refuse to walk further. Maybe all these only apply to this doggie, who's got serious attitude problems.
