Trying to donate by credit card on China Red-Cross' website, but all I got was a technical error message after it tried to verify my VISA card... So disappointed with the web technology in China. :(
Yeah. The server's extremely unstable. I can imagine the huge amount of traffic crashing it. Maybe you could ask someone in China to make a donation on your behalf.I might go through banks or tele transfer, a bit troublesome =(
Hk redcross also works. In the end I donated to world vision project. Their people have already arrived in China but no access to damage area currently.I read somewhere world vision spends 7-9% on administration and the rest is put to full use.
