Umbrella
纯粹为了画而画但不知道想画什么，然后出现这张随性产物。可不知为什么每次用彩笔描的图扫描出来感觉很不对，颜色对比有些走样 -.-! 还是实物效果好

初三那年我的好朋友得知我要去新加坡，当场哭了出来，那时我们在苏州大公园散步。我不知所措但无法和她的悲伤共鸣。国外的世界太新奇了，我身边也不缺朋友，又不是生离死别，我怎么可能难过。高中毕业离开新加坡，我难过了，但也很快忘记了。大学毕业离开多伦多，走的匆忙我啥感觉都没有。但就这样青春期认识的令人难忘的面孔一个一个飞过，像地下铁发动加速时缓慢随后疾速闪过的彩色海报，窗外只剩道道晃眼的白光。昨天那人说，梦见我带着她在多大的校园骑车，速度还不错。这要拍成电影就叫廊桥遗梦。谁都不想长大的，这过渡期显得格外苦涩。 让人留恋的东西数不清，所以怀旧是无底的，遗憾是无尽的，但生活是向前看的。眼睛若长在脑袋后面怕是危机重重。我好想念你们，若再给我一次镜头机会我要把你们每个人的骨头拥抱得咯吱咯吱响，把你们心爱的衣服哭脏哭皱，等隔数年相见再给你们捎件新的，随即发现各位尺码已变。
我只想保持一颗年轻的心去体会这些苦与乐，无论是过去还是未来。

Query No.2 sent my nostrils flare. Should I pat myself it didn't come up within the top 10 searches. I only blogged about Greg Mendel once and if I have near perfect memory, I made an one-liner comment about how doomed he was seeing beyond his generation. And that was my sophomore year! Google's still crawling among the ashes?!
Website optimization is a crucial tactic to get yourself ahead of the game. Though in this case it just gives me pure pleasure of voyeurism. Since Google plays monopoly in search engine wars, Google PageRank is the determining factor in your site's visibility. PageRank does not depend on the no. of links 'out', nor does it matter how many external sites link to you if those sites don't rank higher than 3 or 4. You can have a thousand low ranked sites link to you but still come bottom. The calculation is by 'mutual link' on established site. For starters with limited network, you can try placing a link on Wikipedia, but make sure your site is relevant and worth a link or else you get pulled within days if not minutes. It works well for non-profit personal sites. Links to business sites require $$$$$$ and contracted relationship such as 'partner', 'sponsor', 'associate'. Who in their kindest generosity would give you a free ride when they pay big bucks on promotion?
Another thing you can do is to flesh up contents and meta descriptions. Insert crucial keywords (not 'porn', not 'lust caution 腋毛'. NO!)
Google webmaster tool is relatively new. I navigated around a bit. The stats they offer aren't any new from general site meters, except they have the advantage of bundling their services together to give integrated information, namely Google reader feeds, google keywords, blogger, and you don't need to install tracker codes on your website. However, there's a verification step where you either paste a 'tag' (a meta code) or upload a html file to your website to confirm you own the site. They could link blogger accounts to Goolge accounts for automatic verification. Won't that be easier.
I was hoping it would give me more detailed rss feeder stats such as the whos and wheres. But no... I'm not sure if it's a privacy or technical concern. Sure you can track visitors when they click to your site. What's so different with offline visit?
