most hated

There IS something I hate after all...

tiny little web fonts... purposely made so, most frequently seen on girly webpages.
DO they expect everybody to have super eyesights like spiderman or what?

nocturnal

I announce officially that I've become nocturnal. Productivity during daytime = 0, productivity during nightime = 5 , not much higher but still higher. Hate Mondays, feel like someone's ripped me of my precious freedom.

Want to write something under the title 'when love is not enough'. And realized the title's way beyond me.

I slept early last night, but was woken up by a sudden urge to taste just a spoonful of ice-cream. It was near 4am but I jerked myself out of bed and headed to the freezer. I must be freaking mad. All is forgivable ... when one's alone & bored.

frustration

I hate what I draw. I don't know how to draw anymore. It's so difficult to keep the appearance/facial expressions of a character true throught a panel. Cry. Sob. Howl! Tree says I'm biochemically brain-damaged...

the hours

I was sitting by the table the whole time, reading, typing, listening. watching. How strange it feels that time is non-existent but my very presence is swirled up in its entirety. When I'm busy, time passes by blocks, subunits. I always run out of minutes, or even the last few seconds. But when everything's quiet and I'm on my own without any obligations or specific engagements, time disappears into thin air, non-measurable, unimportant.
But I'm finally aware how the night's overtaken. 9pm to 5am, the night is only that long. That's what happens in summer.
Yawn~ should hit the sac , this vampire-like routine's no good for me.
On a side note, the co-ed washroom is... I'm still not used to bumping into half naked men with water dripping all over. they might find the 'vice versa' picture attractive, but no, I just want a single sex washroom.

palace of knossos

We finally met our history of ancient art professeur.
Start with : a woman
adding adjectives such as: deadly conceptual, heart-achingly boring, mind-numbingly monotonous
and it goes with a few more comments: She shut off almost all lights coz there was a slide show. For two whole hours I tried not to doze off and concentrate on her 'um...hum...' populated with spellings of key words. When the light was finally back on, I felt as if reborne from the dead.

We went on a tour to the Palace of Knossos. Correction, our eyes went on a tedious map-reading tour of the half-destructed Palace of Knossos on the island of Crete, where the legend of the half-bull minotaur dwells. It's bizarre why a splendid & luxurious palace like Knossos was totally unfortefied. Or at least archaelogical evidence suggests so. Mycenaen palaces on the other hand have thick walls all around. (Nevertheless, they didn't escape natural disasters. & the citadel was in worse shape than Knossos)I really adore that 'light well' right beside 'queen's megaron', its sole purpose to provide light and fresh air. I so need it right now.

There're many blue monkeys depicted in fresco. I wonder why they're blue. It's not that they don't have brown paint.

blue monkeys, blue blue blue

Who knows why they're blue?? Maybe the ancient Minoans thought monkeys rafted over the ocean so they'were blue! Or is it associated with mythology? I don't think monkeys ever made any guest appearance in Greek mythology though.
